Today i noticed that the transmission fluid filler tube is not making a sealed connection to the tube from the transmission, so fluid has been coming out of the gap when I drive. The filler tube was still bolted on but I guess the o-ring gone. I took the dipstick out and detached the filler tube. Doesn't look like there's any screw at the end of the filler tube that I can connect it to the other end. Not sure if I explain this clearly. Does anyone know how the filler tube is connected to the transmission side of the tube? Is it just held by an o-ring? I'm just surprise that an o-ring will make a sealed connection between the 2 tubes and hold the connection in place. I'm going to the dealership on Monday to get replacement part and just want to make sure I know what to get.
