Transmission issue? Weird symptoms, help!

Hey guys - I noticed the other day that when I'm accelerating normally and get between 40-60 km/h, the vehicle shakes and jerks repeatedly (3 times per second-ish). This doesn't happen before or after the 40-60 km/h mark. To stop the shaking, I have to either let off the gas or give it more. Any idea what could be causing this? Is something warn out in the auto tran? I would really appreciate some advice!

Next time, use the search. This has been talked about before. Check the tire balancing, it seems to cause speed specific vibration

Thanks for the advice. I couldn't find anything similar for 4th gens here. The tires have about 15k on them and this has never been an issue.

^ Also, the jerking seems to be corrected by changing rpms, not speed.

Check the torque converter, U-joints, and if you have a 4x4, the t-case.
