Transmission issue

I have a weird issue with my tranny maybe someone has some experience with. I'll be cruising at about 40/50 or so, then I'll need to turn or slow down for traffic about so drop my speed by 10 or so ,then when i accelerate out of the turn or traffic the transmission pauses and then kinda hits(best way I can describe it).

Any one have this happen to them, asked one guy with the 4wd and v6 like me he says it happens to him to but he had a 3rd gen. Do I have a real problem here or if I go in is the dealership gonna waste my time saying it's normal.

same as mine. They have TSB's for 5th gen and tacoma, but not for 4th gen. Kind of gets irritating, mine does it every time i slow down to between 10 and 20 and hit the gas.

I'll be taking it to the stealership but i only have 2 months left on the warranty so the'll probably just screw me around till it runs out. The tranny still works overall so i'll keep driving it.
 
Same issue here, '09 with 25k...easily the most irritating thing about this truck and no matter how gingerly I step on the gas after braking and making a turn around 10mph or so, the thing revs to over 2k and then slips into gear...total speed gained~2mph...why cant it stay in a higher gear? Heck, even after this rev-then-shift dance, it will even shift again...all before I hit 20mph. So, 2 gear shifts in less than 10mph of speed gained=WTF?
 
Well i have had mine into the dealer under warrante for this issue, and they did say they checked the fluid, and they told me becuase there was not a TSB released for the 4th gen, like there was for the 5th, and tacoma, that they couldn't do anything more, they were going to file a written complaint with Toyota, which probalby wasn't even done.

I tried arguing that even though there is no TSB, you still need to get it working right, and they said that because there was no warning lights or error codes that everything was functioning normally, and that if there was a problem I would see warnings on the dash. I call BS.

Im interested in what Blue fines out if he does take it to the dealership. This is one of the only things that I don't like about my 4Runner.
 
I think most of the new vehicles are like that now since they electronic throttle. Mine kind of does it but my dad's camry is a lot worse.
