Transmission Noise?

Today I was coasting down the hill to my house in 1st gear "L", I was probably going about 10 MPH just coasting with no throttle and the transmission started chirping. Almost like the sounds of your drive belts chirping, but I could hear it coming directly from the transmission. It also did it the other day in rush hour.

-Do you guys have any insight?

-Still shifts perfect, fluid is the nice color you want, I recently did 2 drain and fills through the drain bolt, 4 quarts at a time.

-No pink milkshake, I have a trans cooler.

Noise.

Could this really be the U joints? I have tried just about everything to get rid of the squeak that sounds like a belt slipping.
The sounds seems to fade away if you drive carefully but as soon as you drive hard and up a few steep hills with gear it comes back.

I have a 2000 4Runner that I went with 3 other people and full of gear to go skiing and I almost could'nt get up the steep hills. Afterwards the squeaking was loud! It only seems to make the noise when you decelerate. I think it has to do with something with the transmission overheating.

Could it be an old Torque converter? I'm contemplating replacing mine with a new one.

It was the U-Joints in my case. I replaced them both and it completely went away. In fact it drove so much better.
