Is that tube connected to the pan for the dip stick and does it get in the way when you remove the pan?

Being that your truck is an '03 V8, you are one of the few who has a dipstick for the transmission. On top of that, not many people here remove the transmission pan as it is not entirely necessary.
I like how you take a shot at how active this forum is (and it is actually a very active forum) when you have 2 posts in the 3 months you've had an account here.
Dare I suggest you do like others do and find out for yourself if the dipstick gets in the way when you remove the pan. Surely, removing the dipstick shouldn't be difficult when you're removing the transmission pan (if you do find it so necessary). And if you figure it out, you can come back here and let us know how it goes. Just a suggestion. Have a nice day.
