Trash Bag Holder Fix with Pics.

When I bought my used 4Runner a few weeks ago I noticed that the trash bag holder on the back of the center console didn't stay closed all of the way and would swing back and forth while driving. This was driving me nuts so I pulled out the center console last night and investigated the fix. The metal tab in the bottom of console was pushed in too far to catch the plastic latch on the trash bag holder itslef. I tried pulling the metal tab out further with a pliers but couldn't get a good grip on it. I could have taking the duct work for the console vents out to push the tab from behind, but it was dark out and even after I unscrewed it, it was not coming apart very easily and I didn't want to force or break anything eles. I ended up looping some wire around the back side of the tab and was able to pull it out further that way. I put everything back together and now my trash bag holder stays closed. Nothing too exciting or difficult, but I thought I would share the pictures incase anyone else has a similar problem.

Nice! What speakers do you have there, they dont look stock. And if so do you like them?

Thanks. I thought someone might notice the speakers in the pictures. I believe they are Infinities, but not sure what version. They were in there when I bought it. I was lucky to find a used 4Runner with an Eclipse Nav/DVD head unit, upgraded door speakers, a 5 channel JL audio amp, and a 10" JL Sub in the custom JL stealth box for the 4th gens. It does sound really good, but I will probably put in my Alpine type R components that I pulled out of my last car before I traded it in.
