Trasharoo Logo Quality?

I'm sure most of you guys know that Trasharoo can put on a logo on the flaps of their product if a group buy is put together. Has anybody had any experience with the durability of those logos? They look silkscreened on or something along those lines, but was wondering how well they would hold up to the abuse of being outside every day. Does anybody have any experience with them?

I know people with them and they'll wear and fade eventually but it all depends on what you put it through. If you keep your Trasharoo hanging off your spare year round then it'll show. If you only have it on there when you wheel it'll probably take years before it looks too bad.
 
I don't think that asking the company that develops the product would really get you an unbiased opinion.

I don't mind fading, I'd be more concerned about it peeling after being exposed to the elements since it's not stitched on like the Trasharoo logo itself. The quality of the bag itself is fine, but I do feel like the third party silkscreen may not be as good.
 
Yeah, it might sort of peel and flake after a while too. I don't think there's much getting around it honestly. But by then you'll almost be due for a new Trasharoo anyhow.
 
Possibly, but I feel like a good product should last quite a while. I can get one without the logo, which is kind of the way that I'm leaning towards since it seems to be the weak link in the whole thing.

I have one with the FJ summit logo on it, it's not cracking or peeling yet, but it's only been 9 months.

how long, in your expectations, should an exterior mounted knap sack garbage bag/trash holder, or the label connected to it, hold up?
 
The label - not long, which is why I'm asking for experience on it.

The pack - I'd say should hold up for a couple years if it's kept in a covered outdoor environment.

I'd like the label to last as long as the rest of the pack is the main thing.
 
I saw that group buy on Expo. I'm still kicking myself for missing. I ended up buying one on eBay.

It would be nice if the logo lasted as long as the bag. But at the same time, if you're spending the same amount, if not less because of the groupbuy, I wouldn't be overly disappointed if the logo didn't last as long. As long as the quality of the original product wasn't diminished because of the logo.
[MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION] Has anyone attempted to have a 'T4R.ORG' patch made yet? I know there are a lot of patch collectors out there (I'm one of them). I'd be happy to look into it if you were willing to share the file with me. Then we could all just get a patch and attach it to a trasharoo or anything we wanted it for.
 
I haven't thought about patches before. That might be cool for headliners as well. Send me a pm with your email address.

That's exactly what I'm planning on doing. Actually, I thought about putting them on the ARB/Engel fridge insulation cover.

That's a genius idea. I'm totally going to do that instead. There's actually a GB going on now over at ExPo for them, which is why I'm asking.

Not sure if it's kosher to post the link here, but if it is then I'll add it. Not hard to search for though.

If you like, I'm friends with Dave Druck, and could forward your concerns, that way you could hear it direct from the horses mouth.

FYI...just PM'ed Dave..and he said.. "Actually they hold up great. Embroidered work gets clogged up with dirt and looks like hell quick. These hose off and so far, zero complaints over 4-5 years of doing it this way."
