TRD Air Filters: yay or nay?

I have been using a TRD air filter for several years, but I am not a big fan of cleaning them. Is it even worth it to use the re-usable TRD air filter (or K&N equivalent)? I am wondering if I should just throw it out and use disposable toyota oem air filters.

I stay away from k&n because i'hate to clean and ré oil it and then wait for it to dry etc but if they work fine for you then stick with them.

Concept of disposing dirty filter and replacing with a new fresh OEM one is convenient and satisfying. I would not want to deal with washing, oiling and reusing multi-use filter elements.

The negative reports on the K&N regarding amount of dirt they allow to pass versus OEM combined with stock filter flowing just as much air caused me to go back to OEM.

I much prefer my disposable paper filters.
