I guess start out by giving TRD a call to see what they say...
Maybe someone on the forum could tell us if they have tried this,
I don't know anybody with a 04 V6 runner here in Cincy to see if they will work.

No problem...I can understand the V6 but I wonder about the Xreas shocks...Hum

It most certainly will work with xreas. It is not supposed to work with rear airsuspension (which I have) The system fits 100% completely, all you have to do is make a bend on the bracket for the left tail pipe, the reason being is the bracket is supposed to go where the compressor is. Bending the bracket allows you to mount it to the trailer hitch.

I have had it for 4 year without any issues. I would call trd on weather or not it fits the v6. Or call toyota and ask if the factory cat back systems are the same v6 vs v8.

Ok I did some checking today and it will fit on a V6 or V8.. I found that the factory exhaust system from the cat back is the same part number for the V6 and V8 and I read the TRD paper work that came with the system and it does not say V6 or V8 only...

Ohhhh, I'm in Columbus and would take you up on that but we're soon to sell our house and move, so I've been put on a budget until we figure out how much all the new crap that you have to get when you move is going to cost.

I've been thinking about a K&N intake and upgraded exhaust too.
