TRD exhaust anyone one their 3rd one yet?

All,
I was under my 97 when i noticed the tail pipe end is rusting away like no body's business.
The "TRD " is rusting through.. this is the 2nd complete exhaust that my dealer has installed.I think there is some kind of Guarantee or something but I'm not sure they will replace it this time.I have heard of them being replaced multiple times. I'm curious anyone else have theirs replaced more than once?

Why don't you spray rust inhibiting enamel on your exhaust piping? I did my entire under carriage by hand with a black base coat of rust inhibitor and now I'm going to do a rubberized coating over top of it. Salty winter roads out here ruin cars...

Thanks for the reply... I might give that a go. The only part that is rusting all the way through is just the part that sticks out the rest of the system looks and sounds good.
they replaced it for me the last time for free.. i'm going to try again.. one of the guys did tell me that it will happen again and again..

I assume when you say "the part that sticks out" you mean the tail pipe past the bumper? Yeah I painted that too and I have the original exhaust with 116,000 on salt roads. The paint does the trick. Another thought, if you really want to rust proof it (because the paint will have to be reapplied every year) you can take it to a powder coating shop and have the whole thing baked.

sorry for being so Technical.. I changed out my stock exhaust for the TRD one about 26kMiles into the truck. I liked the way the TRD one sounded so i ordered one and had toyo install it. then the same part started to rust out.. took it to the dealer he had to get a rep to take a peek at it i came back and the rep said get him another one.
So if i go back to the dealer this time it will be the 3rd one. it's not supposed to rust. I'm sure you know what the TRD tip looks like and how cool it sounds.. I do like the look of it...
another friend i know suggested the powdercoating too.
