TRD exhaust for 4th genners?

Is this the infamous borla exahust, or did TRD actually make a different exhaust setup, because I noticed this while I was browsing toyotaparts4u.com . . . the only difference I can see is that it has the TRD emblem etched on the tips. . .

Well they say its different but I think they just copied the Borla design.

looks like they copied it, but hell, I'll pay $720 vs. $620 for borla if it gives the performance without the dreaded 2000rpm drone. . .

I like the 2K RPM drone. But I also like the grey cladding. Yeehaa!

We grey 'coats' ought to start a Confederate fan club or something. Toyota copied a perfect butternut grey.

My shift points are almost exactly at 2K at each gear. Cruising at 65mph she is turning in the 2-2,100RPM range. I have always had the Borla, so I have no pre-Borla sound to judge this 'drone' by.

It is a steady, low normal exhaust note. I find listening to the exhaust is more enjoyable then listening to the radio.

Have they ever straightened out the crazy tiny lanes on Westheimer?

Westheimer has FINALLY changed for the better, nice smooth 4 lanes all the way through. . .
