Picked up my new exhaust today at the dealer. THANK GOD. I'm getting it installed tomorrow or Thursday, but here's a few teaser pictures to hold you over:

And the reason I paid all that hard earned money for this bad boy... :bigok:

No pics yet sorry guys but it's installed and it sounds pretty darn nice. Tomorrow when it's nice out I'll snap some and post them up. The low RPM sound is heavenly, real real deep and smooth as butter

Picked it up for $670 with a discount

Okay got some pictures and videos taken. It's really windy here today so my sound clips didn't come out very well, but I took a few anyways. Gonna try to upload them to youtube.

I think you paid almost $300 just for the tip as I got quoted around $370 for a non TRD SS Borla cat-back.

But I thank you for helping stimulate the economy.

I know I overpaid for the exhaust but I really had no choice. I wrote this over on YT after someone decided they point out that I had just wasted $600:

"I honestly don't care if people consider it a "waste" to buy the TRD or any exhaust system. Not to sound like a prick, but it's my money and I feel entitled to spend it as I please. I needed a new exhaust quickly after my old Dynomax rusted out and didn't have the time (2+ weeks) any shops quoted me to get one made. Plus, only one of 5 shops in my area said they would even build me an exhaust. So I decided to not deal with that, cough up the dough to get something that I know will last. It sounds great, and I'm sure that I will never have to deal with replacing the exhaust system (cats excluded, I just don't know how long they are supposed to last) for the rest of the life of my truck."

Here's an in cab video:

nice video but i'm pretty positive ur riding around with the e-brake on (shiny red light in left corner)

Yeah, it's up one notch for my temporary DRL mod. I had to reactivate my DRL's to pass inspection (LAME) so until I redo the mod, which will be later today, I have the brake up one notch to cut the DRL's

Yes I'd say its worth it. There may be cheaper ways to attain the same effect, but I'm confident in my purchase and that it will meet expectations set by years of previous Toyota ownership.

Rolling all the windows down and punching it at WOT makes it well worth the price:cool:

yeah i trust it over any aftermarket brand. got an exhaust leak and hav to change it anyway so just wanted to find out if its worth it
