TRD Exhaust System for 4runner

I have a question about the trd exhaust system for the 4runner. The borla system fits either the V8 or the V6 correct? So does that mean that the TRD system would do the same? I can find the TRD system for cheaper than the borla system and I wanted to see if it would work. Thanks!
