TRD Exhaust To quiet???

Anyone who has the TRD duals like mine think they are to quiet?
I wish it had a little more rumble at idle.
My neighbor has a Chevy pickup with a custom flowmaster system on it and it just sounds amazing.

What does that resinator looking can near the TRD Muffler do? Do the TRD exhaust tips quiet it down?

Any input?

I'll meet you around Tom's River NJ and swap my Borla dual catback system with you! Wife complains it is too loud - hence I complain she is too loud! At idle it sounds like V8 idling (its the 4L V6 - both v6 and V8 systems are the same).

Oh you can hear the TRD, but its just missing somthing that the flowmaster has. I know its just me but I was just wondering how others felt.

it is pretty quiet at idle, but i'm happy with it. the thing i don't really like is that the right side looks older and more used than the left. is yours like that too?

Yes I notice the tip on the right is older looking than the left. I think the right gets a bit more exhaust flow due to the way the pipes are designed over the axle.

AFAIK the Borla and TRD are the SAME.....

I have the Borla and was also displeased with the sound out of the box...so I had a local shop remove the tips (which QUIET the system ALOT) and then he re-routed my what would be driver side pipe smoothly right next to the pass. side and weld on some new non-resonated tips. I think it looks and sounds ALOT better.

So you guys are saying that removing the resonator tips increases the sound of the exhaust?? If so by how much? Does it become obnoxious?

I would say no, but it does LIVEN it up. try it out, they can always re-weld the trd tips black on
