TRD exhaust vs OEM stock mid section

are the TRD exhaust and the OEM stock mid section interchangeable? Wanted to know if i can bolt on the tail end of the TRD exhaust to the OEM unit?

No. The regular exhaust is a 2 bolt flange while the TRD uses a 3 bolt flange at the rear section.

BUT...any muffler shop should be able to make this work. I ditched my TRD exhaust for the standard.....I had the shop use my original side outlet TRD tip.

that's exactly what i want to do. Seems to be an easy task for an exhaust shop. Just need to find a stock mid section in decent condition.

The shop cut the end off of the trd mid section and welded it onto the NON trd mid section...thus allowing the use of the trd side outlet tip.
