Ladies and Gentlemen,

I was looking at my 4Runner yesterday and had an idea...

My front and rear silver painted "skid things" that are plastic are pretty rock chipped and missing paint... What would you think if I had these pieces removed and hydro-dipped in Carbon Fiber pattern?

I would want to get the CF TRD badge too (you know, to brag about my totes high performance V8 n' stuff)

Not trying to be "that guy" who's like "nah man, super rare limited edition TRD 4Runner right here"... just looking to add some style changes to my rig and I like the racing development logo lol.

OH and my rig is the dark grey color with dark grey/blue cloth interior with silver accents which could be hydro-dipped as well.

Any suggestions? Anyone done anything similar? This would be temporary until I can afford full replacement bumpers lol

Under the lower grille opening, its the plastic piece with the 3-4 moulded vertical tabs. Theres one in the back too, under the bumper but above the tow hitch area.

Mine are torn up, Id like to hydro dip/wrap them with a carbon fiber pattern

a lot of sport/trail owners paint them. the front comes off but it's a pain in the ass and as i recall. on the 03-05 - you can't get the rear one off without a LOT of hassle. i just taped them off and sprayed them with bedliner.
