Yup. Saw it at the dealership last week. However, parts dept. and TRD rep says still no official word on availability...

Still, I shipped my unopened K&N back today as it seems like it has to be any day now...

Not that I recall - Just the same stuff.

Although, there were lots of interesting rules and disclaimers about the intake saying you couldn't buy it at the same time as the vehicle or finance it at the same time or something like that - Don't know if this has more to do with warranty issues or smog rules, but it did seem like the lawyers were behind it...

Most likely it's to prevent them from violating CAFE standards and regulations.

They had all those restriction when I was researching the TRD supercharger for a Tacoma.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy....oh boy. I want one. Um Can i haz? I am holding off on my exhaust until i put in the intake, so the sooner the better.

Nice. I like the fact that it is a true cold air intake system, not an open filter sitting in the engine bay like most of the aftermarket units. Interesting that it has a vacuum indicator on it (according to that blurb in the catalog).

I bet you could hook up a snorkel to that kit, unlike the K&N systems. An afterthought, the K&N kit is for both the 2010 T4R and FJ, has anyone checked to see if the FJ TRD intake would also fit our 4Runners?

I'm also interested in the wheel to the Left (no more reading things upside down :p ) .... Is that the same Streetlock wheel as for the FJ, but with the 4Runner 6 bolt pattern?

Okki

Those TRD wheels are supposed to be coming out for the 4runners soon also. TRD said Dec 31st like the CAI I believe.

I wouldn't buy them though as they can make your 4Runner roll over in the desert. See what I mean(Thanks to BlairB for the pics)...... Very sad sight.... - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum

Well it's definitely love at first sight. I will be waiting in line for this 100% as I must have this. I did like K & N filters before but I will be getting the TRD.

Hopefully, a supercharger and exhaust will not be too far behind.

Just to be clear, this is from a 2011 4Runner Accessories pamphlet...

Thats weird because right after I posted I went over to my dealer and it isn't in their pamphlet and the parts guys hadn't heard anything about it go figure I am really looking forward to this considering the K&N intake I had sucked
