I didnt watch the video but you can "tint" your blinkers/lights with plastidip as long as its an even coat and you dont apply it to thick it will be transparent to the light Or with plasti dip its easier to overspray then clean up after yourself than to be careful upon application.

tail lights, blinkers, back up lights are not affected at all. they are all visible morning and evening - 3 layers of plasti dip and 3 layers of glossifier. But, i didnt go this far, but my buddy of mine did. I just dip'd the emblems, wheels and the front end. The front end is a little bit tricky, since it is a 1 piece front end. You need to remove the tape while it is a little bit wet. Or, when it's dried up the plasti will come with it.

You've got far more patience than me, friend. My experience with PlastiDip was a very frustrating one. (Good thing the stuff peels off easily)

I used dollar a can spray paint to tint mine. It's cheaper but also harder to clean up. Good thing with the plasti dip is if its too dark you can peel it off. My lights look black when they are not on

I'm new here and still haven't been allowed privilege to post my new members thread, but I will warn, I plasti dipped my whole vehicle and left it sipped for over a year. The dip baked on and it took weeks of work (at 2 to 3 hours a day) to remove it. Used a pressure washer, dip dissolver... etc. Nothing worked

The dip dissolver didn't work? I had the wheels on our old Passat dipped for 2 years and when I went to peel it, it had thinned over the years and wouldn't peel in sheets. So instead I sprayed with the dissolver, left for a few minutes and then power washed it off. Came off super easy that way
