TRD "O" gasket anyone?

Anyone out there done the TRD "O" gasket upgrade for the throttle body?

Alot of guys have done it on here I'm sure they will chime in. I considered doing it but after doing some research I figured the Toyota engineers had a reason for doing the "D" shaped one, so I left it.

What Spish said. You wont notice a difference good or bad really. That being said it is a good time to clean your throttle body and IACV

I had one in my Tacoma just to see and if it did anything. If it did. I sure didn't notice.

ive got it, i dont think it did anything, but id have to agree with the toyota engineers comment above. Its like that for a reason unless your supercharged. Im pretty sure this mod gave my truck a funky idle, I took it in a while ago and the tecs said it was ok. so i guess there is no harm doing it

Yeah, I was more leaning towards not doing unless it was an absolute must-have.

Removing the ISR and cleaning the TB are what led me to ask about this.

It does nothing unless you have a supercharger.
