Just wanted to share a good product I found. I had a hard time off road overlays and not the actual emblems. This product seemed priced right and came to me very promptly.

I haven't been able to find any overlay sets either, thanks for this. I'd much rather get a cheap non OEM set and save some money but this will work fine I'm sure. Has yours arrived yet?

All i can find is black. Its not like this is the first year of the 4R, i am surprised there are not more color options for Emblems.

Guess ill just have to paint them my self for a few dollars and spend the rest I saved on beer.

Just ordered these myself. Expensive but they seem like good quality with thick 3m tape backing. Haven’t installed them yet too cold.

My plan is to buy the $35 kit for the front and back then use Plasti Dip to do the sides. Waiting on warmer weather.

Love my gunmetal rims and the subtle red TRD logo on the center cap. The stock color of the emblem actually matches the gunmetal of the rims pretty good.

I'm on the fence if i will spray paint or wrap the emblems.

There is a lot of flash on these, especially the Toyota logos, I did a lot of trimming as I painted to match my grey.

Exactly what I did, very happy with how it came out.

I sprayed my emblems. I also found a place that makes layovers for the wheels so I can get rid of the red TRD, going for complete monochrome look.

I just put a set of black replacement emblems and the 3D printed trail emblems from shapeways (with lots of high build primer and 4 coats of trim paint) on my 11. Looks really good. I thought about the covers but everywhere I looked it seemed the chrome still showed up a little. Now I'm thinking black wheels when I go to 285's. Looks a little odd with silver wheels now.

Any pics? I've read quite a few posts about these overlays or coverlays, as some call them, but I have yet to see any close up pics to see how they look. I am particularly curious to see how close they fit the the body and whether or not there are any gaps.

Hi, just wanted ask your opinion on temperature for applying the overlays. I installed a set that I found online for about $60 (side emblems only) and temp here was in 55-60 degree range. Cleaned before install with 3M adhesive remover. “TRD” and “Road” emblems both firmly attaches but on both sides the “Off” emblems did not stick on left ends of each emblem. I believe they must have been slightly warped.

Yesterday I decided to just remove them all and stay with the silver originals but damn if I could get the “Road” emblems off. Afraid that if using heat the entire emblem would come off. So I ordered a new set from Toyota, but unfortunately could not get only side emblems. Had to order entire set for $150. Not sure now whether to wait until summer to put them on, or maybe just warm up the overlays before applying.

No plans on using the Front/Rear Toyota logos or the “4Runner” letter emblems. Also have the removed emblems without adhesive. Anyone interested in these, let me know.

I would hold off till warmer weather. As bad as I want to put mine on right now i’m waiting for a couple of warm days. Figured I do it right the first time. However, i’m sure it can be done with a heat gun.
