Yup. Bilsteins make the TRD shocks...they are monotube shocks.

I just installed the FJ Off Road/Bilstein shocks (front and rear) and I love them. I yanked my XREAS and couldn't be any happier with the results. Although I installed the FJ springs/coils too, you do not have to install these and could use your stock springs along with a 1" daystar spacer. Good luck!

i bought trd shocks, they told me they come in a pair but i only got one each.
so now i have to buy the other two and that cancels out the springs unless i find a pair on ebay.
also some people on this site used different rear stab bushing and had great sucess what were those bushing and how do they affect my ride.

you bought them used, and how about on-road performance like handling, ride comfort and such
they are awesome. i love them. the handling is firmer , the ride is great , not so bouncy like the regular 4runner shocks and springs. yes i got them used on ebay. i was told they only had about 800 - 1000 miles. it took me about a month or 2 to find them. you just have to keep watching. you might also want to check the fj forum. guys sell them on there when they upgrade. i also have a 1" spacer in the front and air bags in the back.

Yeah, I agree. I love the ride and performance change. The FJ bilstein shocks are more firm, there's less body roll when cornering, and there's less of a nose dive when braking too.
Like mmjmeade said, I'd keep checking on ebay or, and this is what I did for mine, just create an account on the FJC forums and post in the "classifieds/want to buy" section. List the specs that you're looking for (never been off road, low mileage, etc.). It might take awhile, but it's worth it bc a lot of times you can work out some pretty solid deals with the guys there. It took me about a month, and I ended up with a set of FJ bilstein shocks, springs/coils, and struts (fronts already assembled), with under 2k miles, for $150 shipped. Good luck! :cheers:

I am SO dying to replace the shocks and springs on my 4Runner. I hate all that body roll and bouncyness of the ride. I don't have X-reas, so I am good to go there. What is the normal cost of these FJC Springs and Bilstein Shocks and a good website to go to to get them if someone wants them brand new?

I am looking to buy a set of rear springs and struts from a guy from Craigslist. He said there were 28K on them and wants $100.
I also have the Daystart 2.5/1.5 waiting to be installed.
Question 1. Should I offer less since it seems like people are getting full sets between $50 - $150.
2) Is 28K too high from a mileage standpoint...its less than the 70K mine have on my current set?
3) What affect would running stock fronts with the FJ TRD rears have with the Daystars?
