TRD or Enkei 20" Wheel question....

What are these really?

Who makes these?

Anyone know the model number?

Im trying to figure something out for a guy who wants to get some TRD dubs. He really wants the 20's but really doesn't want to pay 2400$ for a set from the Stealership so I tell him, the Enkei Deep Six'es are the same thing, just swap the centers for the Ivan Stewarts and viola, TRD dubs!

He then points out the the Deep Six'es have a solid center piece around the center cap which covers the lugs.

The TRD ones have exposed lugs.

Never noticed this before and he's right.....the pic attached is from another coworkers T4R with factory equipped TRD 20's.....notice the exposed lugs.

If you look at a pic of the Enkei Deep Six model, you only see the covering and if you compare both wheels, it doesnt appear that you can leave the cover off on the Enkeis and have a smotth looking spoke design, I would think you culd see the indentation of the center lug cover.

Anyone shed some llight on this!

You don't have to spend $2400 at the dealer. You can order them here for $361 a piece:

Also remember that if you order the standard Enkei's from an aftermarket place, chances are that you won't be able to fit the tire pressure sensor.

I thought these wont work with the TPS anyways....

BUT, thanks for the link, but i'm still trying to find that "deal"...$361 apiece still comes to $1444, add another 600$ for the cheapest set of tires from Tirerack and we still havent factored in shipping for the wheels yet......oops, did I mention that Im in Hawaii?

Shipping for the weight of the wheels alone would mean taking out a second mortgage (alright not that bad but still....)

I personally scored a set of TRD 18's off ebay shipped ground to HI at just under 700, added 606 for my Kumho's (shipped) from Tirerack and I ended up getting mine on for about $1300 in all.

If these "TRD" exposed lug wheels are under a different name elsewhere and are the exact same as the "Factory" then I might score a deal with someone who isn't marketing them right....

When you put it that way....I suppose $2400 from the dealer for wheels and tires is not bad at all.

Ebay is certainly a good option.
