TRD Pro questions

I'm Picking up a Pro next week? 10/21/2014.... Does anyone already have one? I have a couple of questions. Does it come with a sun roof? I don't care either way.. I want to order a GOBI Stealth rack and want to order the right one.... I also see a lot of different opinions on rock rails.. What is the best one? I want them to stick out far enough to stand on and reach the roof.. Any help would be great.. I'll post pick when it gets here.. Thanks for the help.

Welcome and congrats! Take a peak at the 5th gen thread... you an search to but there's a TON of talk on the TRD Pro's currently. No sunroof at this time... but the Trail Premiums do. Post pics when it comes and enjoy!

You'll learn a lot of the people on this forum were probably made fun of in high school and take out their repressed anger on those that fail to use the search function. With that said, I will try and answer your questions. First, the PRO does not come with a sunroof, which is better in my opinion. More headroom and noticeably quieter. (I have had two 5th gens, one with and one without a sunroof, so I actually know what I am talking about) Next, based on your description of the functions you need the sliders to perform, it sounds like Budbuilts are the way to go for you; however, my overall impression is that people generally like Shrockworks the best. Last, but not least, I am getting 5100s on all 4 corners (.85 up front) and rear spacers (10mm OME) installed tomorrow, so mine will likely be as large or larger than yours at Thanksgiving, but it's still no PRO...

I have not seen a pic of 5100's set .85 with 10mm spacers in the rear would you post a pic when your done? Also thinking of this same set up.

See this thread was not worthless after all!

I'm typically the guy who stands up for the noobs when they come in and start a thread that's already been gone over. Some people have never been a part of a forum before so they aren't aware of stickies and the search function to research problems/mods. But screw this guy. Probably not even getting a TRD Pro and if he is he sure as hell won't get any help from this forum.
