True. You'd still have to buy new suspension, but let's not pretend anyones going to pay $ for trail/SR5 takeoffs either, so still ahead of the game.

$40K+ for ANY 4runner isn't exactly what I'd call a "smart deal" (arguably the Limited, perhaps).

Good luck getting a Trail premium w/KDSS for under $40K here. It can be done, but Limited models have more markdowns than trails.
 
Same set up here.

I have a nautical blue 2014 trail w/ KDSS. I bought the TRD PRO suspension off a member on here also. I installed with toytec top spacer with mine. At first I did not change the factory spring perch settings and had 1in lean. I moved the perch and now level. Next is full toytec TRD kit and UCAs!
 
Hey guys I have a 2016 trail premium with kdss and I to have added a pro suspension I also am running a cornfed levleing kit. I see that a couple of you guys raised the perch on passenger side to fix the lean issue is this correct? Thanks for any help!! !

I don't get your question. Changing the perch setting is one way to fix a lean, various spacer kits are another. If you already have a cornfed leveling kit installed, are you still getting a lean?
 
So how's everyone's setup doing thus far?
Currently own a 2016 TEPw/kdss and looking at lift that will be covered by warranty.
Also, did the dealer mention anything about the warranty when you added the shocks?

I did the same upgrade and love it. Just came back from a 2k mile overland trip through Canada, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. We did 600 miles on all kinds of dirt roads and it was fantastic. The only thing I did was move the passenger side shock spring perch up since I did have the kdss lean. I also installed .5" toytec spacers in the top and now I'm sitting level. These are fantastic shocks, high speed, low speed , street, you name it. We also had a roof top tent on and the kdss really helps stabilize the truck with that weight up high.

Did you install the .5 spacer on passenger side suspension to compensate the Lean (side to side) or the .5 spacers on both front to level (back to front) thank you
I have a 2018 ORP w/kdss on TrdPro suspension on 2.5 ToyTec kit and I have an 1” lean on the front and almost 2”rear passenger side, and nope I haven’t move up the perch setting yet, which I’m hoping that will level up side to side when I move it one up.
