Please...

Does anyone know if the red TRD lettering on the center cap for the TRD PRO wheel is actually Inferno Red or a different color? And what is that paint code?

Thanks!

That is definitely not Inferno.

TRD has always used a red similar to Brembo's red. A near perfect match is Honda's Italian Red that was used on the 2003-2006 Honda CBR600RR.

I want to paint the TRD letterings on the TRD skid plate. Is there a good red spray paint can from HomeDepot I can use?

It's starts to peel off after a few months, I'd remove stock color, do a better prep and match with your Inferno.

Bumping this thread as I would like to be able to plasti-dip my emblems... anyone ever figure this out?

Thanks in advance!

In all seriousness, I’ve never understood the appeal of decorating a piece of equipment that was designed to get scraped, bent, dinged?

This was the closest I got to figuring out the color... my skid plate lettering is already red since I have a pro! But my badges are black and I want them to pop... >.<

For me, it's because they look pink now which I don't really like. I would just paint them black and be done with it, but I like the small pop of color.

I may just get some red paint and not care whether it's an exact match.

In all seriousness, I still don't understand why anyone cares what another person does with their personal property?

Because it looks bad ass and $20 to slap a new piece of vinyl in there every now and then is nothing. I went with the TVD, it installed fine despite some damage on the plate.
