Nice video, but I think I would rather take the skid plate off and do the installation with the skid plate right side up. That is what I did. The letters are real tricky to handle and much easier right side up.
And one other thing, for the spray bottle with dish soap, you would want 5 or 6 drops of dishwashing liquid. 1 or 2 drops won't be enough.

You are right. That would be the better way. I didn’t want to take off the skid plate. It’s much easier to apply it right on it then taking the skid plate off IMO. =)

Check out the Tufskinz skid insert, it’s what I used, easiest mod I’ve done so far, definitely no need to remove skid
If I knew about this, I would’ve considered it.
It’s much more expensive. $45 vs $ 15 but better quality. =)

Definitely more expensive, as far as quality difference only time will tell, yours looks great as well, if only Toyota had put them on to begin with like the 2019 models. Makes you wonder if manufacturers don’t check out the forums for inspiration on future models

Sorry.....I think you misunderstood my comment, I meant hopefully mine/Tufskinz will hold up as well as yours
