Trd skid plate fit sr5?

Will a trd skid plate fit a 2016 t4r sr5? I have heard it will fit and other times you will need longer screws to make it fit? Is there any mods I need to do to make it fit or will it fit with no mods?
Looking to purchase one.

Direct bolt on, comes with all hardware. It threw me off because when I bought mine, it said 2014 FJ trd pro skid.

[MENTION=212081]oobaa47[/MENTION] The bolts that come with the skid fit and are what should be used. Here is the link to the install on my thread. It is a straight bolt on replacement.

Also read this before install. It is not an issue with SR5 but all models including TRD Pro’s which come with the skid. It will save a possible headache and $ in the long run.

Yea, be sure to run that tap through first. Bolts should screw in like butter after that. Also, to save some $$, you don't need to buy the special t-handle tap wrench...just use a regular old wrench (1/4 inch I believe?).

Trd plate

The front bolts on with Trd bolts that come with the skid plate, the back bolts you can use the stock sr5 bolts or tap the back holes and use the Trd plate bolts
