TRD supercharger on 4th gen 1GR-FE QUESTIONS

so I know they don't make a fit kit for it...

Has anyone done it with a body lift?


Is there something else about it that absolutely won't work with the 4th gen t4R?


I am trying to find a good price on a V8 T4R, but I like the fuel mileage and typically cheaper prices that the V6 tends to go for.

I know URD makes a great kit that will fit, but. $5,000+ is a lot of coin. I have seen some used TRD units for $2500-$3000 which make them a possibility.

My search didn't discover anything on this.

The SC will fit any 1gr(replaces im), it's just the 03-04s do not have any kind of engine management. U could always try Aem FIC but I'm iffy on hack fuel and timing mods. Some ecus will actually try and correct timing on their own and that's a no no under boost even with clean fuel.

So, maybe like the URD computer to run it on 03-04's?

Another tune or computer will work on 05-09's?


Btw-just moved here to Colorado from Texas. The elevation just kills all the power here, especially horrible and noticeable when you get up to 10,000 ft elevation in the mountains.

i spoke with a URD employee about the 03-04 dilemma. he said that theres some simple changes that need to be made electronically but the supercharger will work without a hitch
