Not really. I see those around here for $200 or even less all the time.
Besides, although the bolt patterns work with 3rd Gens, the backspacing is way off. 3rd Gen's are at 4.625" and the 2nd Gen Tacomas (and 4th Gen 4Runners) are at 5.XXX", which means it will sit at least a half inch further into the body, shortening the track. You can tell just by looking at the face of the wheels, those Tacoma rims are basically flat. Now look at the 3rd Gen wheels. They've got more of a bowl shape to them.
To anyone considering these wheels, I would not do it personally.
275 is high to me IMO. But if you like them I would buy them. 2" spacers are pretty damn big and would not like the long term damage on wheel bearings of running such a huge wheel spacer. But again its up to you!
I'm not buying them, they arent the rims i want, i thought 275 was a good deal, i want the 01 5 stars.
They are 1.25" spidertrax spacers and they make the taco rims look good I think...of course thats just my opinion and you are all free to feel however you want. Having said that, my spacers and taco rims are coming off very soon so stay tuned.
Also, I paid more than that for my taco rims...so I guess I'm not all that smart according to the info I read here. Oh well!:happens::dammit:
Thats the rumor....:bluejump:
