Has anyone installed the TRD Sports thermostat on there Gen4s? I was just curious the benefits of a different degree thermostat compared to stock. I live in an area with mid 90's summers and winters tat can creep close to 0 and sometimes below.
Buy a non TRD 180 degree thermostat and save the money. There's nothing special about the TRD part except how much TRD will be making off of you.
I ran a 180 Stant thermostat in my modded Eclipse for 8 years with no problems.
Which way would I go, higher degeree or lower degree? I saw those lock open ones and if I do it that'll be the route I take. I need to be able to defrost but i would like to be able to generate more power and efficiency.
