TRD vs. Magnaflow

Best Exhaust for a 1999

Hey everyone,

I have decided that its time to remove the stock exhaust on my 99 V6 4runner.

I am trying to decide whether or not to go with the TRD or Magnaflow. Is there much difference between the two?

If I go with the TRD, I can get it fairly cheap with my employee discount at Toyota.

Get a Magnaflow muffler and get a reputable shop to fabricate the piping from the cat and even with install you still should be about $200 cheaper than the TRD cost period and that's with a good price of maybe $550ish. I got quoted under $300 for a cat back with a Magnaflow.

Well, I can get the TRD at $425 new w/o tax. The thing is, I would like a full stainless exhaust so that it wont rust. If I didnt care about rust, I would just weld a Vortex muffler onto the stock exhaust setup.
