It has nothing to do with heat, this has come up in a number of the chinese lights lately, one reputable seller on Pirate 4x4 said that it is from a bad " uv coating/stabilizer". Makes sense and explains why one would have turned and the other has not. I have seen one in person and i personally thought it looked pretty cool on his gold Land Cruiser. His was on his truck for less than a month before fading to gold. If it bothers you, just paint it.

Troy has take numerous peoples money and decided to A. not deliver product, and B. Not return money, and not respond...You do the math...I'm posting this in the other trek light threads trying to get Troys attention to deal with the class A CF he has created...




Seems Troy has decided not to answer emails, phonecalls, texts..etc....and is back in hiding (although I'm sure the real man that he is..he has his wife checking this thread)

Troy..listen carefully...

If you chose NOT to deal with this, it is not going to go away...you took people's money, and have ignored them on many levels...cut and dried you are a thief...you are leaving people no options to collect what they paid for, and it will not go in your favor.

After waiting a reasonable amount of time and hearing one excuse after another I filed a claim with my credit card company and got full credit.

That is not the way I like to do business but it was looking very much like I was being scammed so I chose to protect myself. I never heard anything from Troy on the credit or the note I sent him letting him know I was canceling my order.

I support small/ startup business but I support myself too.

I didn't lose anything, but the guys on tacomaworld still are missing lights, got the wrong ones, or whatever.

See what's involved and we could get a class action going

I don't think you would be able to get in on a class action law suit since you were actually pushing his products for him....

Between the multiple forums that this ran across, I know that there are likely tens of thousands of dollars involved and if you guys can all get together on one of the forums and try to get a list of everyone who got screwed by this A-hole.

I know FJNE, Tacomaworld, T4R and ih8mud had issues. What other forums was this dick on?

Ive been discussing options with the FBI Fraud division starting today. We may have a case if he doesnt settle.

Also, JUST got off the phone with Troy, the man himself. He says he will be online this week and he seems eager to fix everything. Not like we havent heard that before , but.... Ill be optomistic; we'll see.
