aha2988 New member Jul 10, 2012 #2 do you have a sunroof? they have drain tubes that run down the A-pillar's of the truck that would be a source of water trickling on the driver side of the dash. not sure why you would only hear it at start up though.

nevada Senior Member Jul 10, 2012 #3 its coolant, filling/cycling through the heater core. its normal.
