Tried ordering some TRD pro wheels

It seems like a different forum member has run into this issue every few months since these wheels originally went on sale.
I bought mine from my local dealership last summer, and I know that at least a few other members did the same thing. I had no issues whatsoever. But at the same time I was buying mine, several members were posting that their own dealers were refusing to sell them the wheels. I heard all kinds of explanations (e.g., only buyers with a TRDPro VIN are allowed to have them, they've already sold out nationwide, they're all on lockdown under armed guard in an undisclosed location somewhere within the Nevada Test and Training Range, etc.).
If you go to the Toyota website right now, you can see that the matte black TRDPro wheels are still listed as an accessory available for purchase. I'd suggest that you just call around to a few area dealers, and I bet you can get a set without too much trouble.

I bought some online from Boch Toyota a few days ago no problems. I have the shipping code but haven't seen them in person yet though so who knows what's in the box. This is grey not black.
FYI- coming from a parts manager for a Toyota dealer, they are "locked" now and Toyota isn't allowing dealers to order them. I'm not exactly sure of the date that this happened but we just noticed it late last week when they cancelled an order we had for them. We've sold tons of them over the past ~6 months or so and haven't had any issues getting them until now. If anyone is still able to get them it's probably because the dealer still has some in stock. We had a couple sets that we were still able to sell after Toyota stopped shipping them but they went fast.
Well, it looks like they may be available again but I'm not sure for how long. We've placed a few small orders and so far have been getting them in without any issues but I don't know how long that will last...

I bought a set months ago and have been leaning towards going a different way with my rig. Set of 4 NIB available if anyone wants them....
I ordered a gray set from Olathe online a few months ago: about $162/each + shipping, no sale tax.

Not a bad price considering what I've seen out there for TRD wheels. In the FJ community you'd be lucky to get a used set at that price!
