have a 2004 4runner Limited with the original navigation and JBL sound system. I upgraded to an aftermarket double DIN system (Kenwood DNX7140)
I ordered the Scosche TA2079B as my trim kit but it won't fit - The aperture in the Toyata trim is 7 7/8" whereas the Scosche trim is roughly 8 5/8" wide.
I suspect the Toyota dashboard trim is different if one has the radio than if one has the OEM nav.
Will the Metra have the same issue?
Anyone upgraded from OEM Nav to aftermarket nav have a suggestion for what trim kit to use?
