Trimming...I know...

I know this has been asked a million times, but: here I go anyway.
What I have:
2004 with ~2.5" lift (Icon and 3" MT HD Coils in rear) and 1.5" BL
What I have on its way:
SCS SR8 Wheels in 17x8.5 with 4.30" BS
Nitto Terra Grappler G2 (great mileage warranty, ATs, size availability)- 295/70r17 (website claims 33.1 diameter and 11.77 width)

I've already removed rear mudflaps, trimmed front body mounts, and pushed liner forward a bit and cut bumper to that point. I have access to a shop (on saturdays only), and tools, cutting, etc. is no problem. My question is: am I missing anything that needs to be done before tires go on to avoid tearing things up? I plan to do articulation and further trimming at home later ( a day or two... cause I won't be able to resist taking her off-road for too long).

i think wheeling it is the best way to find the spots to trim take trimming tools with you the first couple of times...

your truck is gonna be super tall, especially in the rear unless you have a LOT of rear weight. to answer your question: no, you should be good.

Got it done. Had to "re-chop" the body mount to the point that it's almost to the rubber and trim front and rear of fenders. She's tall, but I couldn't be happier! I'll have pictures up once I'm done making things "pretty" (for now, I just cut until the rubbing stopped). And V8RUNN: if you ever see somebody on a trail with metal snips and a grinder hooked to a generator, it might be me...
