Here are a few from our recent stint at the FJCruiser Summit.
Had a lot of fun. I owned a FJC first and transferred everything over but the bumpers, so I still wanted to go this year and see friends.
I was also lined up to be the ambassador on Black Bear for the event and guide folks down the scary section but Black Bear was closed. I did a recovery scenario presentation where I show slides of various recoveries from the past season.
It would be cool to see more 4runners make this event. It is a great time of year to see the Colorado Mountains at their best. This year the event was July 20-24. It costs roughly 150 and you get 3 dinners, Metal tech traditionally sponsors a keg event at the saloon. There were a bunch of industry vendors that are set up everynight. The raffle is awesome. TRD is there, Toyota was there with a 5th gen 4runner.
This was the 5th year for this event.
If you are thinking of next year, they don't have the dates set yet but the time frame is usually the same every year.

Black Bear summit family shot. it was closed on the downhill toward Telluride for snow and trail repair.
I volunteered to run the TLCA booth and got to meet Joe Bacal. Joe is one of the current champions for the Baja 1000, I forget what class. He is also a cancer survivor, so pretty cool story and really nice guy.
