Took the 4R out for a weekend trip to Pocahontas County WV last weekend. Managed to do a little fishing, several nights of camping -- and a little trail riding. Found some mud along unpaved dirt roads, got in some loose gravel/stones. Nothing too extreme, but it was a good weekend to try out some of the 4R features. ATRAC, center diff, no VSC, DAC all worked as advertised. I am very happy with the truck's performance. Now, I need to get it out a few more times...
PS:
The trip was about 150 miles of up/down mountain driving on 1- and 2-lane roads and 190 miles of interstate driving to get down there.
Trip down: 303.9 mi / 14.291 gal = 21.27 mpg
Trail riding: 256.3 mi / 13.947 gal = 18.38 mpg
Trip back: 358.1 mi / 17.076 gal = 20.97 mpg
