Figured i would throw a little thread together. Bought the 98 Sr5 in Sept 2016 for $5500 with 198k miles. Previous owner had the timing belt and water pump done with new spark plugs a month before i bought it so those should be good to go for a while.

Carpet

First thing i did was order the carpet from Rock Auto and began tearing the car apart. Was just filthy. Took every panel and dash out strait to the tub for scrubbing!

Painted the door floor trims with bed liner, just to give a little protection. Wasn't sure if it would look stupid. I don't think its awesome but i don't hate it either.

I felt a million times better about the truck after replacing the carpet. Just so much more fresh feeling.

Awesome progress so far. So, you're going to get a Locker for both the front and rear tires? Also, what do you mean by "under armor"?

Thanks! I do plan on getting the ARB lockers for the front and the rear. The under armor i just meant armor skids/plates .... not sure why i called it that haha. Need to change it!

Seagate fuse box

Added a Blue Sea 12 circuit fuse box to run accessories through. This thing makes everything better. Also have a 100amp breaker but haven't installed yet.

Picked up the Fuse box bracket from 4runnergrille.com . It fits perfect over the charcoal canisters and uses those 2 bolts. Took 2 minutes to install.

Pre wired all my switches in cab through firewall to the Sea Gate so when i get the new accessory everything is done and ready to go, just connect the accessory wire.

Holster

I already had the inside waist and outside holster but decided to just get the cloak dock from Aliengear for easy access inside and outside of the car. Instead of how i usually kept the pistol in my waist while driving. Love this thing, beats just having the gun sitting around when im driving longer too.

Super easy to install as well. Came with a template, just tape to where you want the dock to be and drill the holes.

42" Light Bar Bracket

Got the CREE 42 inch off eBay for $80 and figured i would get if a shot. So far so good. All the LED's work and are really bright.

The bracket though i hate :( sticks way too far out and i am having problems with the weather strip, it is loud as hell inside now. I can't feel air coming in but you can hear it. They were cheap $35 ones from eBay. Think i will just spend some loot to have better brackets that keep the bar closer to the truck, instead of the nearly 7 inches it just sticks out now.
