I guess I should say "NOT" trouble shooting the 4th generation 4runner. I use to have a couple of Dodge Cummins Turbo diesel trucks and spent a lot of time on the Turbo diesel registry. It was fun, you could spend hours relating problems you were having and learning about fixes. Then after awhile you would alway get new members and you could help them out with all the problems they were having with their truck. Hate to complain but with these 4runners there really isn't any problems so not much to trouble shoot. I know this is a good thing but these trucks are almost too perfect. I'm starting to get bored. :bash:

Their boring too. Once you get over the front tires feathering and some of the young guys trashing their 6 speed transmissions (and Nissan replaces them under warranty, weird uh) there isn't anything to talk about except mods, like super charging, etc. which I'm not interested in doing.

sounds like it's not really the type of car for you. i think i read somewhere that you liked to restore cars or liked muscle cars? maybe you should invest in something like a shelby gt500.
