Hello and thanks for any help in advance. I am at a loss as to why the HU will not power up. I have flashed the RR using Weblink desktop as the plugin would not install. The firmware flash says it was updated successfully for ADS-RR(SR)-TOY01-DS (512) V3.2.
No JBL system from the factory and I have tried firmware with factory amplifier both present and not present. The cable from the HU to the RR is in the correct spot next to the USB port. TO1 harness is properly wired up and I am seeing 12V to the constant on yellow wire but only 8V to the red ingition wire on the HU side. The yellow wire on the 3 pin connector from the RR outbound is 12V and red is 0.5V. The RR is flashing red and I have done the reset procedure and then plugging in the 3 wire power cable.
Is this the correct firmware? I have entered the HU serial number shown on the radio. See below for picture of current wiring setup. There are two small connectors on the Toyota side that appear to mate together, what are they for? Male is white, female is black.
