So I put my old Eclipse (brand) 12's with JL 500/1 amp from my turbo Mitsubishi Eclipse into my new to me 98 SR5.
However there is an issue I wonder if anyone knows a fix.
One of the subs will barely emit sound/movement unless I push the cone inwards, then it seems to "catch" and begin thumping for awhile (minutes/hours)
It's been awhile since I messed with speakers and I wonder if this is a fixable condition?
Again, one sub only works if I push the cone inward (while playing) and it "catches" and starts beating correctly.
Hopefully its not shot, these are old subs, incredible sound and quality but irreplaceable, no longer made, and I'm broke lol :redbrick:
