Tru-flow air filters

It's getting time to clean and re-install my new tru-flow filter. Do I really need to buy their "recharge kit" or can I just use the same oil I use for the foam filter on my ATV? I'm thinking it's probably the same stuff, anybody know? Thanks in advance..

Personally, I would buy the tru-flow cleaning kit. It's not that much $$ and you get a a lot of uses out of it. Why settle when you can purchase the proper cleaning kit. I have a true-flow filter and will only clean it with their kit.

It's a 2 stage kit - a cleaner first and then the re-oil. Here's a few places that popped up first when I googled it. (Otherwise, see if you can find it local and save on shipping):

Never posted a pic of my 4runner since I got it almost a year ago, so here she is at Glamis dunes.

If you are talking about having a UNI filter on your quad, then yes its the same oil. What kind of quad do you have?

The UNI filters are actually on a couple of old ATC350X's. I also ride a TRX450R.
