truck cut off, whats up???

So I pull into a drive through and am getting in line. Truck shuts off. Cranks and re-starts, no problem.

I have done some searching but couldn't find much. Is there a known issue like this? My grandmother had a Town Car that would intermittently shut off. I can not find anything like that pertaining to the T4R.

Normally I would just drive it and see if it recurred and under what circumstances. But we are leaving to go on a trip Saturday so I would like to see if there is something to look for specifically. I was running my scan gauge at the time and I have no codes and no CEL.

Mine did that once 75000 miles ago while in traffic. Like yours, started right back up, waited for a repeat - never did it again. Just drive it around awhile before you leave on your trip. If you don't already you may consider running some type of fuel treatment, that helped mine with a very slight morning (cold) stumble. Some use seafoam or stabil, many other things like startron

- i use it in the fuel mostly cuz it works and is much less expensive (1 oz per 18 gals vs 1 oz per gallon) than seaform. On the other hand I use seafoam in the oil (last 500 miles) and intake. Luck! :cowboy:
