Truck for up north

I am moving to clevland ohio in the near future and im going to trade my old yota up for something more modern and 4wd here are my options

1998 Toyota 4runner Lifted Possible Trade this one is a maby and the rest are up to me

toyota pickup 4x4
1995 Toyota 4runner v6 auto 4wd - 4500 or best offer

what ya think. any other options for a 17yr old kid?

Do you have to get the truck before you move? I'm just thinking if you can wait till you move you may find more options in Ohio. Or look at what's available there online, before you move. Given the market and price range your working in I would think there would have to be more than 3 options for you.

The 98 looks nice but high mileage even for the worlds most indestructible truck.
The pickup looks like a "needs work" truck. You'd be way more comfortable in one of the 4rs. There's no mileage listed for the 95.

Where in Cleveland? I used to live on the east side in a suburb named Hudson. The '98 4Runner looks great but don't buy it if it doesn't have 4WD. You'll need it for Cleveland winters. Make sure you undercoat prior to moving up and move into a place with a garage if you can. If you can't a remote start will make your life much better in the winter.

Do not buy a truck in Ohio. Buy one from the south before you move. Everything up here has been attacked by salt and rust. I've had several friends specifically take one way flights to southern cities to buy vehicles because of this.

Im with these guys 100%. That blue **** ate my first car up. 1983 tercel hatchback with 350k on original everything. No issues. Moved to northern ky where they use that crap abd two years later my frame was eaten up. Rear a arm snapped. 1200 bucks for the repair.....didnt do it and had to junk her. She was a great car though. Never got stuck in the snow.
