When I look for a good doctor to care of mine and my family's health, I ask my trusting peers, because in my opinion a respected and reputable doctor is one who has EARNED their marketing, not paid for it. So I am applying the same principle for my baby in the driveway. Aside from all the jokes that I run into when searching for a "trustworthy mechanic", I would really appreciate any help from my fellow T4R enthusiasts on this one. I have been taking my truck to a dealership for all of my needs, but as we all know, this is not the most cost-effective means of repairs, nor does this always guarantee that repairs are done correctly (if at all).
I am in the Houston, TX area and am willing to travel within a 200 mile radius for a trustworthy mechanic that can do the job right the 1st time. I love my truck, it's my 2nd 4Runner, and I plan on having it for the rest of its life (or mine- whichever lasts longer- LOL!).
