Trying to find the right lift kit.

I've been reading 4runner forums for a while now, and its time I go ahead and give my 4runner a well deserved lift.

I've been looking at completed lift kits, OME to be specific. Here is what i WANT, but from reading all the stickys and build threads, I know i am not as knowledgeable as you guys. So before I buy anything, I was hoping for a thumbs up or thumbs down. If this isnt good, I'm looking for a 2.5" lift overall. Any other kits you know of, please let me know. Here is what i was looking at.

Is this buy going to include everything I need? Also reading the XREAS info on the suspension sticky made me worry about compatibility with lift kits.

Sorry for all the questions. I'm just new at this and want to learn. Youtube has helped a lot, but want to see what what you guys think

I'm pretty sure it will work. Only issue is the xreas lines will be dead once you install. You can reinstall xreas later on if you do, but the cost would make it pointless i think.

You can tie up the lines that connected to the struts or completely rip out the entire system. I was lazy and just tied them up. But once it's warm out I have to make time to completely remove it.

I was originally going to go with OME due to their price, but I wanted some more lift and went with toytec boss. The red coils were a plus for me since its my favorite color haha

OK, a couple of things: first, to install the OME kit that you are referencing, you will actually be removing and replacing the XREAS system, thus "compatibility" is mute point. Second, I would recommend purchasing the OME coils and then Bilstein 5100's, instead of the OME shocks (you can use your OEM hats, bolts, etc). The price is negligible yet, the Bilstein's are adjustable IN CASE YOU WANT TO LIFT IT MORE THAN 2.5" IN THE FUTURE (and it's a better all-round shock). Thirdly, are you doing the install yourself? If so, get a torque wrench so that you can tighten all of your new suspension to spec. You can get a torque wrench at your local Harbor Freight Tools for $15.00.

This is what i was thinking of doing. We have an AutoBody shop where I am located and every tool you can think of will be available to me. So I'm good with torque. You cleared up my question about XREAS. I just wasnt sure if i needed to HAVE a XREAS strut, or leave it mute (which i will do).
