Trying to Sell an PAC TATO...Anyone??

I have a PAC TATO for any 4runner with the JBL Synthesis system that i dont need and has been barely used.

Im asking $50 for it!

its the wiring harness interface for an aftermarket radio installation to retain the JBL Amp in the back..only if you have the JBL Synthesis system

I just saw another post from someone using this to hook up a Scion Pioneer head unit. Is this worth doing? What does it get you, just Ipod connectivity? I do have the JBL Synthesis, so just interested in what it may offer.

no its not for ipod connectivity..the aftermarket radio will have that....you need this when putting a radio in because it will allow you to use the amplifier in the back of the truck, the amp needs a digital turn on so that what the interface does and when connecting it up you dont use the speaker wires that come with the aftermarket radio..the interface also turns the speaker wires into low line signal (RCAs) which would plug into the pre outs on the back of the aftermaket radio.....if you get confused...look it up

I realized that it was an adapter for a new head unit(not an Ipod). My question was, that since you are presumably using it to hook up to the JBL amp (and speakers), what would just switching to a new head unit offer? Just wondering.

ipod connectivity, bluetooth, better conrtol of youre EQ, if you have subwoofers in the back, USB connectivity, Pandora.....theres alot of pros to an aftermarket radio...either way you need the TATO for any aftermarket radio
