TSB on sulfer smell

Hi everybody, just picked up a 2004 4runner V6 SE. I noticed the smell. Was reading the post about the TSB. Since I got this used off a used car lot will the still honor the TSB at Toyota?

I think the TSB only applies to the V8s. i could be wrong though. I had my 05 V8 in the dealer a few weeks after i got it and they replaced the cats for free under the federal regulation that extends warranty on cats to 8 years or 80,000 miles. i got my t4r from a private seller, so it doesnt matter where you got it if its still covered.
