TSB/Sulfer Smell/Turn lock knock update

Hey gang!

Just an update. Thanks to you guys here I got two important TSB's completed on my 4Runner.

1. The sulfer smell (replacing the catalytic converter and reprogramming the ECU).
2. Replace bumper sub assebly (for the knocking noise when you do a low speed lock to lock turn).

Good thing that was all warranty work. I drove the truck with the rear window and side windows down and all I could smell was the new pipes burning in. After a little while that smell went away and guess what? NO SULFER SMELL!!!!

And no more knocking sound when I go lock to lock on the truck. This is a 2003 4Runner Sport V6, by the way!

So thanks again to you guys! Now I will check my seat and sunroof for any issues

It helped me. I wasn't sure if that TSB actually helped. Now the sulfur TSB will be taken care of with the next oil change, which is next moth. I definitely want to do that under warranty! I don't have the knocking noise when I turn. Thanks for the info.
